At the top of our terraces is the stable that houses Saanen goats: originally from Switzerland, these goats are structurally among the largest. Saanen’s milk, with its unmistakable organoleptic qualities, is one of the most appreciated: it has, in fact, a very delicate and pleasant palate aroma. This milk is composed of a high calcium content and, therefore, is particularly suitable for children and the elderly; it is usually well tolerated even by those who are allergic to cow’s milk proteins because it is characterized by short-chain fatty acids that make it more digestible. In addition to goat breeding, there are also other species of animals such as rabbits, the Belgian hare and farmyard animals.
